Information is exchanged and interviews are arranged at MIT and at the annual American Economic Association meetings with the guidance of the Departmental Placement Officer. In a typical year, every MIT Economics Ph.D. graduate finds a job. MIT recommends that applicants interview with a member of the MIT Educational Council if available.
