I tried to find any thread/post concerning the use of +P ammo in the PK380. I found it designed to fall within a zone that is still safe for firearms not rated for + p.

Shoot whatever 9x19 ammo you like. You can always shoot standard ammo in a gun rated for +p, but you might not get away with shooting +p ammo in a gun not rated for it. It's not rated for a constant diet of +P, but for "limited". I also have a Ruger P85 and you can't break that gun with a steady diet of +P+, let alone +P. The P11 is what rides with me daily, though, and if I ever break it (11K and counting rounds in 14 years), it's lifetime warrantied.
